The Open Water Diver course is divided into three main segments: 1. Theory Segment – knowledge development to understand the basic principles of scuba diving 2. Practical Segment – confined water dives to learn basic scuba skills (in the pool) 3. Practical Segment – discover scuba diving experience the skills you have acquired may be credited towards a portion of the full SSI Open Water Diver course certification

Day 1

On the first day of the tour, you will meet your instructor at the swimming pool in Chalong at 8:30 am. During this day, you will focus on the theory segment of the course. Your instructor will help you understand the basic principles of scuba diving, including the equipment used, how to communicate underwater, and how to plan dives.

Day 2

Day 2 is an exciting day when you will be taken to Racha Yai Island. The day starts early with a pickup from your hotel and transfer to Chalong pier at 7:30 am. Once you arrive, you will be welcomed aboard, and breakfast will be provided on the way to the first diving site.
